Well you have topside paints, bottom paints, deck paints and more.
There are a number of manufacturers out there.
Interlux is one of my favorites , they have a great web site and they great support.

The best all round paint you can use is a 2 pack polyurethane gloss it can be used any where inside out side underwater or above, best to undercoat first if surface is old, normal painting disciplines apply
