If u mean the various parachuting insertion methods, yes. USMC Force Recon units r ''roughly'' considered special forces capable. However, as with USMC training & organization structure, to actually call them special forces would not be in line with their training & organization doctrine. So in short, ALL marines r expected to be able to perform at the same level organizational wide, not just in specialized units.

The qualification process probably is just as hard as earning the status as ''Ranger'' for US Army infantry units, if not more.

Do not quote me on this being 100%, but from most sources I've read & heard from, this should be correct or at least close.

On the military channel they have a program about HALO-High Altitude Low Opening. That would be a good place to start on learning Special Forces Insertion methods. They also have HAHO which is High Altitude High Opening. Also there are books on this subject. Try Amazon.com for your book finding needs. Hope this helps.
