l have a stingray mercruiser inboard motor boat. My newest problem is l dont know how to turn the front bow light on.l turned the navigational switch on and plugged the back light in and it worked.But l dont see a switch or button or anything that says how to turn the front green and red light on? Could someone help please.

If the light you plugged in works that a anchor light> The running lights come on with out the anchor light>
Keep looking at other switches or it may be a 3 way switch flip it up or down>

l would say replace the bulb first & if the bulb is okay then check the wiring to the front light. It is much easier to change a $.89 bulb than to check the wiring. If you're savvy enough with mechanics tools then u can use a test light to check the light socket to see if power is getting to it. When u hit the navigation switch the front light as well at the rear should light up. My guess if the boat itself is in good shape then the bulb is probably the culprit. The cover should have a screw on the top or sides to remove it to check the bulb. Just be careful when u remove the cover. There is a rubber gasket there to seal out water. Try to make sure it does not get damaged when u remove the cover

It should be like a 3 way switch up and down or left to right It should be navigation lights and and try flipping it one way then the other and see if it works, if it doesnt maybe try changing the light bulb.

Take out all your bulbs, clean the electrode terminals where the bulbs attach. It is common for these to corrode. Put all your switches on, at least one light should come on. Check to make sure the filiment is not burned out. You may have corrosion at any connection, but bulb corrosion as stated is common.

Lots of great . Your switch should have an anchor light and Nav. light position. Make sure it is in the Nav position. Check the bulb in the red/green nav light. clean the connections first, replace the bulb. You may need to check the connection on the back of the switch if that does not work, you can also check to be sure you are getting power at the nav light with a dc volt meter.

If the nav. lights are on then the red/green should be on.
