l am working as a deckhand on a commercial fishing vessal. We get boarded by the D.E.C and the captain & crew get tickets for fishery violations, now how can l get a ticket if Im not the captain? My qustion is were can l find somthing about the captain is the boss, l was just a crew member doing what l was told .Please help . l go to trail in october & l need somthing that says that the captain is the law that he is resposable for what goes down on the ship. THANKS easyyyed

It is very hard to give you a good answer. It has a lot to do with where you were. What you were fishing for and type of boat. You need expert legal advise. Check with the Public Defender if you can not afford a paid lawyer. l hope this helps!
