l have a 16 1/2 ft bass boat, needs carpet. However, l really dont wanna put carpet in again. Any Ideas on what l can use? I am also wanna repaint it, what type of paint is best to use for the topside of the boat and underneath boat?

If u want to paint the decks or floors u can use a non skid marine paint. Not as noise absorbing as carpet but will look good.

For topside paints Interlux is my favorite. They have several types. Brightside is a one part paint that provides a great finish, is self leveling & is available in a good selection of colors. Perfection is a two part epoxy paint that can be brushed on & will look like it has been sprayed.

You will have to remove the glue from the deck before painting.

You can use ant good marine deck paint - mix a little sand in the paint to get a good non slip surface.

Check with the marine stores for a good top side paint. Do not use a house paint - will not hold up in the marine environment.

Like people are getting in bed of trucks.
Fab, you can get diff colors and textures for non skid surface.
Stuff is tough as nails.
