i want to make a bow and arow. were I can find the plans

First of all, wrong forum. Second of all, why do you need plans? Find some hardwood, steam it to make it pliable, then string with some form of string that wo not stretch. Tennis racket string works well.

Look in out door crafts. l do not ever recall seeing unfinished bows or arrows in out door catalogs, just the one that you can change the heads on.

It is spelled ''ARROW''. and WHAT does making a Bow and Arrow have to do with BOATS and BOATING which is the subject of this string?

Step1Look at & touch as many bows as u can. The first step in being able to successfully recreate something is to know the dimensions & intricacies of it fairly well. If u spend some time in a sporting goods store looking them over, u will be able to get design ideas & inspiration to make ur own.
Step2Get a book & learn all that u can about the weapon. The designs r essentially the same but there r many different ways to craft them. Get a book & start reading for more information.
Step3Gather ur materials. Choose the wood for the arrows & the bow. Also, get the materials u will need for the arrowheads, fletching & bow string.
Step4Find a suitable piece of wood & clean off any twigs so that u can begin to shape it. Work it along the natural curve with sandpaper or another woodworking tool. Work the wood until it is smooth & easily bends but is not weak. Also, cut a notch near each end of the wood for the bowstring to go through.
Step5Take the material u have selected for ur bowstring & cut it to the proper length so that it provides the proper tension when u draw back on the bow.
Step6Make the arrows. Take a straight, lightweight stick & secure an arrowhead to the front of it. Cut three slots near the end of the shaft to insert ur fletching to provide stability in flight. The straighter the shaft of the arrow, the straighter it will fly. Also remember to cut a notch into the back of the arrow for the string to go into.
