on the trailer or in the water - lol. 35 to 40 -/- depends on size of boat too.

The speed of a boat is determined by a lot more than the engine power. the size and shape of the hull, for instance, as well as the water conditions (smooth vs rough).

Honestly, 10 HP is a fairly small motor, so, unless it is a small boat, then you're not going to get much performance from it.

l can get about 15mph out of my Zodiac with 2 people in it with a 9.9 hp OB.

put your motor on a 8ft hydroplane you might could get upwards of 35mph.

On any other hull, in any conditions, expect 15MPH, 18 max.
